This is nice hotel, clean with friendly staff, unfortunately trains run constantly across the river. The only way we could block it out was to run the AC all night, so ask for extra blankets if you can't handle the cold. I was also told that some rooms don't have windows. It's in a great location for shopping or night life. But too bad about the trains...

The hotel is conveniently located near downtown and overlooking the river. The staff is courteous; the rooms large and clean. Unfortunately there are trains that pass nearby in the night, some nights quite a lot. I would stay there again, but bring ear plugs.

We stay at this hotel often and are always very pleased. All of the rooms have a river view, and they are clean and spacious. The service is excellent and it is walking distance to the downtown Lawrence area.
