My girlfriend took me here for my birthday. She did quite a bit of research to plan the trip. We had a pleasant stay here in a room facing the water. It was quiet, clean and the beach was nice. Sanibel is only 15 minutes away over the bridge, and there are a number of dining options up the road in Ft. Myers Beach. There's also the Mound House, an old house atop an ancient Calusa Indian shell midden nearby. The breakfast was average so I recommend heading up the road for that. There was a problem with an A/C leak but that was resolved quickly. The pool and tiki bar are fine. Otherwise the staff was friendly and we would stay there again - maybe on a future anniversary! Also I love the logo on the sign.

The resort had many accomodations that made our stay a good one. The restaurant, gift shop,internet access in the office and pool so close were pluses for us. The resort itself is somewhat outdated as far as the rooms. The service was fine overall.

Spent 3 nights at the Outrigger Resort over Thanksgiving weekend. Check-in was smooth (the front desk clerk was extremely helpful as we were rushing to get to the dinner train). The room was clean and big. The heated pool (gulf water was too cold to go into) and sundeck area was nice. The beach was clean, enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed the Tiki Bar. We were glad we were alittle ways away from the Times Square area, quieter. Only complaint was the breakfast at the resort, only had the buffet available.
