The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The eggs at the compimentary breakfast were amazing! My main criticism about the complimentary breakfast is that eggs were not served every day. I would encourage anyone to stay here, if only, to try the eggs. The room and the hallways were very nice and clean, as I have come to expect of a Holiday Inn. I really liked the carpeting in the hallways. I was very dissappointed by the pool and spa. First, I would recommend to bring your own pool towel, because the pool towels at the fitness facility and the pool are much too small to actually be used by anyone but toddlers. Second, the outside of the pool surface was very rocky. It hurt to walk around the pool or between the pool and the spa without shoes on. The pool was nice once I got in and had very convenient hours. The spa was very uncomfortable to sit in because the jets came out too far from the outside of the spa. I was forced to lean into the middle of the spa in order to enjoy the jets. I would recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone who wants a very clean place to stay with a very attentive staff. I would also recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone who enjoys a solid complimentary breakfast and everyone who likes eggs, because they were delicious! I would not recommend the Holiday Inn if you intend to spend any time swimming or working out because the facilities are very subpar, particularly for a Holiday Inn. I do hope they put some money into improving the swimming pool area and spa, because the proximity to the freeway is ideal and the room, staff, and layout are superior to neighboring hotels.

My daughter and I were at the horse expo at the event center next door and decided we didn't want to drive back home. We stopped at The Holiday Inn Express hoping they would have a room. They had one left and the desk person was very friendly!. I was amazed at how clean the room was and how wonderful the continental breakfast was. I would absolutely recommend this fine hotel to anyone!
