I am well travelled, and ABSOLUTELY NOT a ""shill""/paid spokesperson for online travel website or this hotel. In short, this hotel was a monumental surprise. Immaculate, tasteful, roomy rooms with a fireplace overlooking the ocean. A legitimate spa on premesis. Low keyed, relaxed vibe. VERY professional, courteous/helpful staff. Worthy of a vacation! The town of Hull is absolutely charming, a cross between Cape Cod/Martha's Vineyard (without the pretense) and Key West. The drive is a bit tricky (small towns, winding roads, etc.) but well worth it. Both the town and this hotel are hidden gems.

My husband and I had enjoyed a very full day and we were looking forward to some rest and relaxation. We first drove past the hotel and on out to the end of the peninsula, turned around and asked a very nice local woman for directions. Turns out we didn't recognize the property initially because the pictures we saw online were taken from the beach. We found friendly staff, a very comfortable room and a good meal within walking distance. Next morning we had a nice stroll along the beach before loading up for another day of sight seeing. This is a place we would recommend to others and will stay in again if we are ever fortunate enough to come back to the area.

We booked for two nights but we had to check out after first night.The room was dirty, the pool area was miserable and our room was next to a busy street, we could not sleep untill 2.am. when car traffic started to slow down a little bit. The "restaurant" was a joke! Diner was expensive, but we could not touch the food, and the service was very poor, and the place was smelly. Their breakfast("complimentary") is an insult. Definitely this place looks like a retirement place for nice, senior citizens. The beds are small and very, very unconfortable.
The sheets/towels were very dirty. This old hotel is in a bad neighborhood and the only plus is
the nearby Atlantic Ocean view and the small beach.Horrible experience with Clarion, we don't recommend this place.
