The management was inflexible with my schedule change (flight was canceled). Would not let another family member check into room for which they had already received payment. They were unfriendly/rude on phone and in person. Never saw a smile in 3 days. Hallways were dirty and bathrooms with ridiculous body soap dispensers. Needed 5 rooms for 3 days the following week, stayed at another motel (Comfort Suites) better rates, very similar rooms, much cleaner and staff was always smiling.

Room was very clean, frig was broken, but was fixed on a very timely basis. Staff was great, only draw-back was the breakfast. Fake eggs, broken waffle irons, two days of fake eggs and tortillas. Was not the staff's fault. They were more than great. We will be staying there again during Cross Country season.

It was great. The folks at the desk were attentive and made certain everything was to my liking. The room was very clean and the service was the best. The hotel was quiet but friendly. The breakfast was wonderfully hot with waffles, eggs breaksmeats, fruits and juice. Great coffeee. The room had a microwave and refridgerator plus a coffee maker.

Stayed for several nights. Because of motel's proximity to University of Oregon, it may be used by athletic teams/fans/others attending sporting events. I was awake half the night with multiple high school track teams slamming doors in the motel. Business travelers/others may want to stay elsewhere if the purpose of the visit is to sleep rather than simulate dormitory conditions.

05/25/2009The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean, and i will definitely stay at the phoenix inn again when i visit eugene. great value for the money.
