We booked 5 rooms when we were in town for a memorial service and we enjoyed our stay as much as possible under the circumstances. The staff was friendly and helpful and ""went the extra mile"" to make things nice for us. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was well prepared and kept supplied. We liked the authentic western atmosphere. The room we reserved for a meal for 25 was nicely set up and the food was good. There was a bad snowstorm and some of our party were unable to use the room for the first night and there was no charge even though the policy is to cancel 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged. All in all we were very satisfied with the stay. The garage was a great help in the snowstorm.

This place is a dump. The linen had not been changed. We slept on the top of the blankets which we have had to do anyway since the heater was stuck on high!. We had to open the window, room door, and the door in the hallway leading to the stairs to cool off. The bathroom was dirty and mildewed. The towels were missing from the last guest (there were not enough for two people). The continental breakfast was a poor showing at best - old tasteless muffins and rancid coffee. We complained to the front desk the next morning and returned from the field later that day to see that the room had not had maid service at all! The front desk clerk had to come up and give us towels and sheets. We had to stay there two nights but on the last two nights, I sprung for a hotel 30 miles away in Bozeman. You should do the same.

I thought it was probably our dumb luck that we had no hot water for showers, but I heard 4 other families complain of the same thing. I also found out this is a regular occurence at this hotel. They did give us *$* off of an *$* room. Woo hoo! The chef at the restuarant and the pool were the only redeeming qualities and that's not enough for me to stay there again.
