The property appears to have been recently renovated. The room was comfortable and clean. I stayed for 5 nights and would recommend the hotel. The breakfast was quite ample with juice, coffee/tea/milk , assorted breads muffins and bagels, cereal (assorted cold and instant oatmeal packages), waffles and french toast (for individual toasting) butter, jelly, cream cheese etc. An attendant kept the selection stocked. There was a computer in the lobby for guest use which I found extremely useful. The staff was friendly and helpful. A pile of USA Today newspapers were available each day for guests along with a desk copy of the local Berkshire Eagle. The hotel is actually about three miles from the center of Pittsfield, an easy drive. If going again, I would certainly consider staying at the Ramada again. There is road noise so a room at the back is advisable. The railroad is not too far from the rear of the property, but the sound was not particularly annoying. I enjoyed my stay finding the facility clean and comfortable to return to after a busy day.

The beds are the worst. The breakfast is the usual cold cereal and other assortment of carbs. There used to be hard boiled eggs but not anymore. Peanut butter is your only source of protein. The coffee is good though. The price of the rooms get $$-PRICER the busier the season.

Hotel is a 15 minute drive from Tanglewood, but there is little else to recommend it. Rooms were severely overpriced during our July visit for what was offered--there is no pool and breakfast is the usual dreary cold cereal / toast / fruit juice in a cramped room showing TV programming you do not want to watch.
