I stayed at this property in July for a family wedding and was treated wonderfully. The waite staff, front desk staff as well as the bartender knew us by first name only after three days. I will stay again. While we visited, we had a wonderful time watching the ducks swimming in a small creek off the patio.

First off I called the hotel the previous night to make sure they booked us a smoking room and it was varified they had, but when we arrived the following day they had booked a nonsmoking room. Luckly there was still one open and they were able to assist us with the right room. When we opened the door to the room I was pretty disapointed. This hotel needs remodeling badly. The toilet would not flush, the room did not smell clean and the bathroom needs to completely be remodeled. The tub looked worn and dirty. We were not sure where to go to eat so we looked for material in the room to help guide us in the right direction. There were no pamphlets or even a phone book in the room. The breakfast buffet was actually pretty good but it only consisted of paper plates, plastic silverware and paper cups. But towards the end of breakfast time they did nicly set the tables for lunch with real table settings including cloth napkins. This kind of made us feel like we did not deserve the real real thing because the meal was free. All in all we were thankful for the comfortable bed. But we will not pay $* again to stay at this hotel. Our hotel experience was partially my fault. This hotel should not be rated a 3 star hotel.

We've stayed here on and off since June of 2004 when our son went to college in Butte. It WAS good, but each time its been more worn down and messier. Last time our blankets and bedspead had holes in them and I don't know when the room was last cleaned. The food was obviously older and of barely acceptable quality.
