My family has been going to Forty Myers Beach and staying at the LIghthouse for 7 years. We love it! Great service, rooms are spacious and the pools are fabulous. Very close to the beach and very affordable! We're planning our 8th year now.

We recently had a vacation to Florida that almost didn't happen two days before we were scheduled to leave where we ended up having no place to stay. Scrambling to find a place I picked one of the first places I looked at online and do not regret picking the Lighthouse. It was a quiet place but had a Tiki Bar if you want some drinks/food and entertainment 7 days a week. There are two pools which the room we stayed in overlooked the smaller pool with the waterfall which never got crowded. We stayed in the One Bedroom King Suite and it was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The Lighthouse is centrally located and close to the Beach. We will definitely stay there again. Two thumbs up!

Room was third floor one bedroom suite overlooking the east pool. Kitchen utensils were cheap and nearly unuseable. Discount Liquor is across the parking lot to the south. Food was mediocre. Smoking Oyster Brewery is under the bridge and worth the short walk. A dozen steamed oysters and a beer were around $7 at happy hour. Drink at the auxilliary TIKI at the hotel. The beer is on ice and colder than inside. Scott will take care of you. (His nickname is ""Beetlejuice""-wait until he asks and he'll comp you some beads) We didn't need a car. Wouldn't want one in the bumper to bumper traffic. Paradise cab was $* to RSW. $* from RSW. Plus tip.

We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn and Resort on Fort Myers Beach. It was wonderful. We rented a car but did not need it since we could walk anywhere we needed to go. The room was clean and we were able to get anything we needed quickly. The Tiki bar was fun. The only downside was you needed to be by the pool with the waterfall if you wanted quiet at night. I would definetly stay there again.
