We attended our daughter`s graduation in Richmond and found the Jameson Inn a very nice clean friendly and comfortable hotel.One thing of interest was our room faced an open field so while sleeping you did not get the usual blast of urban light that often keeps me up while staying in motels.We paid* a night which was a great bargain!

We stayed here on our way to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with our son. We thought it would be fine, since we would only be there about 10-12 hours (sleeping). Check-in was a breeze, then we headed to our room. The smell of smoke was horrible... especially for a NON-SMOKING hotel. They either don't have measures in place to take care of people smoking where they shouldn't, or they just don't care. We were extremely disappointed, and concerned for our son. We let him ride the elevator (he's 3) - and what is there? 2 cigarette butts! Yuck! If you have any concern for your health, don't stay here. If not, you should be fine. Beds were fine. Staff was nice.

I stayed here two nights on a weekend (Sat. and Sun.) It was quiet, the staff were helpful, and the buffet breakfast was good. It was an easy off/on to I-75 There are two restaurants an easy walk across the parking lot-- a Steak and Shake and a Ryans. My only complaint is that the bedspread/comforter was very thin. It didn't provide much warm and was very sllipery and fell off the bed during the night.
