The room was spacious, clean and in good repair. The AC worked well but was a tad noisy. The included breakfast was varied and served with pride, the business center was very accessable and the help cheerful and helpful. We will definitely stay there again if we ever come to Ft Walton Beach.

where do we being? The TV's in the suite were manufactured in 1994 and do not have any A/V inputs. There is wallpaper in the bathroom and it is peeling off the walls. Houskeeping decides to show up usually after 3pm and sometimes up to 5pm. Cayo grande is an apartment complex also which they fail to tell you until you get there and see for yourself. The halls of this place are all siding even on the ceiling and it smells like mildew inside the halls as well. Complimentary breakfast is disgusting and sits in trays all morning. Business center has two computers and both keyboards are busted and missing letters, you have to hit the spacebar about 5 times before you get a space to appear. Front desk service is disgusting. They really seem like they just want to hurry and give you an answer so that they could go back into their little office in the corner and continue BS'ing amongst themselves. The landscaping is horrible and use of the side paths are impossible since bushes are growing over them. I'm not usually the type to complain but this had to have been the worst * per night I have ever spent in my life and I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. Please save yourself the money. You would do better at a basic * a night hotel room.

I agree with other reviewers that the beds are very comfortable. Our place was clean and comfy. The pool is nice as is the free breakfast. My biggest complaint is the distance to the beach and the "strip" in Destin. Although it says 10 miles, with traffic, it often took us 30 minutes to get to the beach. In addition, the hotel is in an interesting part of town. It's next to a cement plant and near a high school. It is a nice facility, I just think I'd choose somewhere with a more central location next time.
