First, the hotel is overpriced for the quality of rooms and definitly for the service. The phone in the room did not work you had to go downstairs to make a local call. Once I was downstairs and gave the girl the # she asked me to wait in the lobby next to the lobby phone and she would transfer the call.. she walked out of the hotel because her shift was over and left me there waiting! Worse yet, I go and speak w/her partner and he says oh, there was no answer... a few hours later I go down again and ask HIM to dial the # and he says the # does not exist.. They had not even called the first time... This was just one of the ephisodes that happened... you could not count on help from the customer service reps. the guys who were outside doing security/valet were much nicer. The rooms were o.k. but not for the price! It's a friendly city,,, but I'd try something else for lodging.

We stayed here with a tour group. They were expecting us but completely unprepared for our arrival. Several rooms had malfunctioning air conditioners. Staff spoke very little English. Facility stoic and plain. Beach and pool was fine. Restaurant was pretty good, not outstanding. Suggest you look elsewhere unless you just need a place to just sleep for the night.
