This is a lovely place to stay. The Registration Desk staff person was incredibly helpful and kind. The room was the most spacious I've seen. Every room has a balcony -- just large enough to stand on, but that's plenty. Rooms facing North view the gorgeous mountains and just below, the putting green and a pool. The grounds are gorgeous. We stayed on the 7th floor and felt we could see the entire valley. A wall of glass helps--at night the lights are beautiful. No noise issues. Because of a mishap in the reservation -- don't know if it was travel website or the hotel's fault (1 king instead of 2 doubles) we received breakfast vouchers at the Cima Restaurant for the whole stay. Really fine breakfasts and great wait staff. The only negatives were that the decor in the public areas seems fairly bizarre! However, in the room, it was toned down and very relaxing. The bed was hard and seemed a bit short-sheeted. Beautiful stained glass ceiling. Next time I'd like to stay longer and take advantage of the pool, spa, touring the grounds, etc. And there certainly will be a next time.

The Pacific Palms is a beautiful facility. From the minute drive in you know you're in for a treat. From reading past reviews we knew to ask for a room facing the north for the best view. At check in we were informed of a late night wedding reception that would occur outside right below those rooms. So we forgave the view for a peaceful nights sleep. Not to be had on the south side of the tower were large fans for the AC that roared on and off all night long. The plumbing is outragously noisy. Otherwise this hotel was great. We loved just walking around the grounds.

This hotel and staff were wonderful! I was so impressed with the room, room service, front desk's willingness to help.I had broken my toe and needed a wheel chair on site and it was furnished and brought to me - with a smile!I'm trying to find an airline ticket now to go back in July 2006.
