I travel about 80% of the time for work and am currently staying at the Wingate. First off, it's not that close to the mall. Though they claim it's mall-adjacent, there is no shuttle and it's a long, hilly walk which crosses two major, busy thoroughfares. The rooms are basic but nice. It was clean and well-maintained and well-appointed. However, if you're looking forward to the free breakfast, keep looking. The morning buffet is inedible. Even the things that would normally be safe-- english muffins, fruit, coffee-- are beyond bad. The gym is tiny and right in the lobby with windows which expose you to everyone who walks through the front door. The staffmember who checked me in was lovely, but other than her, every staff member is sitting in the back reading or chatting away on a cell phone. They were quick to rectify the fact that my alarm clock was not set to current time-- something I could've done on my own if the clock didn't require me to unscrew the back to reset the time. Honestly, spend your money elsewhere. This place is fine if you're staying one night, but don't expect breakfast and don't expect anything other than a decent night's sleep.

We travel all over the US & Canada. This is by far the cleanest place we've stayed. Even the parking lot was nice! The bed was heaven! It's close to the mall of Georgia for those who might enjoy walking a little, but it's not right across the street. It's in a pretty, hilly area.The continental breakfast also included biscuits ,sausage gravy, sausage,bacon, & eggs...ahhh a real breakfast! Staff was friendly.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and the microwave and refrigerator were a plus. The continental breakfast was ok. Making your own waffles was a chore since the waffle iron was not a non-stick so we had a lot of do-overs with the waffles. I agree with one of the other posters, the staff are not that freindly. I'm glad I only had to deal with them briefly. Despite that......I'LL BE BACK.

Close to Mall
