We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo with our son and daughter -in -law and grandaughter. There was plenty of room and with 3 bathrooms it was very suitable for our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem it is a drive to get to most things. There are several nice beaches within 6 miles or so. If you want to relax around the pool and go to the beach this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed here for 7 nights and then moved to the Kona Beach Resort in Kona.

The resort is a bit remote and a car is needed. It is quiet and a wonderful retreat for families. They rent all the equipment you would need-coolers, boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, snorkle equipment etc. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!!

The first thing to keep in mind when booking this hotel is that it is not by the water. In fact, it is inland and you will have to drive about 6 miles or more to all beaches. I knew this when I decided to stay in this hotel, so it wasn't an issue, since we were planning to drive all over the island anyway. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. It is adjacent to a golf course and with a rare exception of occasional early morning golfers, we hardly bumped into anyone, which was nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and responded to my calls relatively quickly. Our room did not have internet connection (not sure if that's true for all rooms) and the staff let me use the hotel's conference room whenever I needed to work. This hotel is less than a mile from Waikoloa Village Market, a full size supermarket, which I very convenient if you are planning to cook a lot. King's Shops area is about 7 miles from the hotel.
