We recently stayed at the Cape Codder during their Christmas season. During a previous visit during the summer, my husband and I had dined on the deck overlooking the exquisite courtyard gardens while our children frolicked in the nearby wave pool and water slides. This time, the courtyard area had been transformed into an illuminated Christmas paradise. Besides thousands of lights, there were animatronic characters such as elves and reindeer and little cottages to engage the children while costumed carolers entertained the crowds. The smell of hot chocolate and hot apple cider wafted in the cold night air as the crackling bonfire enticed children of all ages to toast their marshmallows on long sticks. Strolling around the merrily lit courtyard put us in such a festive mood. Our experiences at the Cape Codder have been above average. We love the food in their restaurants and during the school vacations, they have great programs to keep the kids entertained. In our experiences, the staff couldn’t be nicer. We’ll definitely go back!

this is a cheap motel charging 5 star hotel prices.the place was so bad i could not get my family and I to stay even the night.this place sits directly on the highway away from all the area attractions.they are renting rooms in the middle of their construction areas.their primitive dinky wave pool which takes a big space on their deceptive website malfunctionned and stopped in the middle of the afternnon.no outdoor pool present.decrepit amenities,batthrooms dating back to the seventies,air conditionning broke down after being room for 1 hour.i was only relieved when i decided to leave,but ended up ruining a beautiful weekend.

The staff was very difficult to deal with in regard to problem resolution. All of the hallways smelled of either mildew or strong chlorine(near pool), front desk staff rude, found unknown person (male) sleeping overnight on couch in common area and reported, found one month old newspaper in room, the grounds were covered with pieces of metal with nails sticking out and trash from roof repair, a very loud party next to the "complimentary" movie made it impossible to enjoy the movie, fan in room was so loud it had to be shut off to sleep (while either freezing or being too hot), bar located near our room, across parking lot, very loud till 1:00 A.M. nightly. Will not hurry back. Unsatisfied.

On a referral from my best friend to go to the Cape Codder I decided to bring my girls for 4 days. It had been 9 years since I had been to the Cape because of overcrowding and traffic.
I was pleasantly surprised at what a GREAT place to stay the Cape Codder is!! So very family friendly with all of the activities that go on throughout the day and night - even when it rains! My daughters and 16 yo niece had a fantastic time all around. Even my mom and the woman she takes care of had a nice time. I did think the cost was a little hight and the only issue we had was the staff at the restaurant. The servers were not overly friendly and at times rather slow. We will be sure to return and are spreading the word about what a great place the Cape Codder is. -

If you can tolerate the smell of cholorine which covers the entire hotel, the Cape Codder Resort is wonderful! A great wave pool, loads of activities including movies for the family, bonfire with marshmallows and more. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable - really cold a/c.
The location is pretty good - although it is not on the beach - it is a short drive to Craigville beach, ferries and more.
