I stayed at the Nathan Hale recently while vising the Uconn Campus and was pleasantly surprised. I thought I would get ok service but instead I got great service. It seemed as though people were happy to work there and were always smiling. Unlike many hotels I saw the hotel managers walking through the building many times stopping to talk to guests just to check on their stay. One manager rode with me in the elevator and was so friendly and checked with us on every detail of the stay. I did not expect this level of service out in rural Storrs, but it was well worth the stay. The hotel ammenities were what I expected from their website, great upgrade on the fitness center from last stay. The bar was great with Uconn themes and sports teams. I would love to see a shuttle service around campus for visiting parents but I guess that's what the campus provides with the buses, though I little cramped.
