Room 216 of GuestHouse Intl Aiken is absoultely the worst room I have stayed in in all my travels. The furniture was soiled, the bath tub had a dirty broken place and extremely slowly drained. To the credit of the less than friendly front desk personnel, the drain suddenly began to drain well during my second morning shower, after I had reported the slow drain the previous day. The $150 per night (during the Masters at Augusta) was outragous for the bad quality. On the the travel website, this hotel has a three-star rating but it should be a one or no star. The bed linen was worn badly and the mattress must be at least thirty years old. I can not recommend this room to anyone. I would prefer a longer morning drive from Columbia or someplace for the Masters than to stay in Room 216 again.
