  The Americaiin was probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in for the money. The rooms, hallways, and lobby were spotless. The pool area was clean, water temp. was ""just right."" A pool table, fooseball table and several video games to choose from in the pool area, all in working order. The breakfast (sausage gravy and bisquits & fresh waffles) selection was more than adequate and very tasty. The staff.....what can I say? They were extremely friendly and helpful, even though they were ""Green Bay Packer Fans"", knowing we were from the Chicago area. Would DEFINATELY stay there again.

  When traveling with our children we look for hotels with indoor pools. A whirlpool/hot tub is a plus. Both were great @ this hotel. The only thing we would want is more fresh fruit and whole grain breakfast choices.

  Great location, friendly, clean, indoor pool & spa (too much chlorine!), hearty breakfast equals a great value for 3 ($75.00). would stay there again.
