I reserved a two bedroom suite. The resort is a time share, figured that one out right away. Still no problem. The resort and accomodations were GREAT! Beautiful rooms, fully equipped kitchen. Just know ahead of time there is no valet service, no baggage service. There is also no daily maid service. The resort is laid out like condiminiums, so no elevator and everything is either first floor or second floor. If you have problems carrying baggage up two flights upstairs, be sure and request the first floor and be prepared to transport your car to the appropriate section and into whatever accomodations assigned to you. I would stay again, but would be prepared next time.

We tried to do an early check in, but we were unable to enter our room until 4:00. No big deal there. But when we tried to use the keys they gave us, they didn't work. Back up to the office, where they re-activated our keys. We finally got into the room, but there were ALREADY PEOPLE IN THERE!! We then had to go back to the office, where we got NO apology. The room was beautiful, but a few lights were out and our DVD player did not work. I probably wouldn't stay there again, just based on the awful service we received. And I know they are supposed to push you into going to one of their "Advertising Meetings", but when you say no 3 times and they are still asking, it's a little much. The only reason I rated Value for Money so well, was because we got a great deal. I would never pay what they ask you to.

The fact this is listed as a "resort" is not only discouraging but laughable. THIS IS A CONVERTED APARTMENT COMPLEX SELLING TIMESHARES!!! The rooms are in terrible condition, and upon arrival my wife was visited by a skunk routing through trash bags unceremoniously kept lying on the grounds. I won't even waste anymore of my time writing about this slum.

Calling this place a resort is a joke. The suite; was dirty and in poor repair. I am sure there are plenty of hotels in Sedona that for the same price you could get a clean room, house keeping and perhaps a little better view than a parking lot or an poorly groomed garden view. Upon checking out we notified the staff of the broken coffee pot, cupboard door, shower door, shower head, hole in the wall from the door knob and dirty furniture and doors. The response was the ;they are renovating the hotel" but according to the reviews of past guests, this was suppose to be completed by this year ;2009 The whole purpose of this place is to sell time shares. Its no wonder they push people so hard prior to getting into your room because I would find it hard to believe that anyone would buy a time share for the price they were asking for a place like Sedona Summit Resort. I do not care to stay there ever again and would not recommend it to anyone.
