We had two rooms (one with my mother-in-law & niece, the other with my husband, myself, & two children). First of all, our room wasn't ready until about 4:15 (check-in time is 3:00). When we finally did get into our rooms, they weren't the cleanest I've ever seen. They smelled bad & there was feces smeared on the back of the commode in my mother-in-law's room. I cleaned my own bathroom & tiled floors with clorox clean-up before I used anything. My family & I still showered in flip-flops to avoid touching the floors & tub. The carpeted floors weren't clean, either. We all had trouble with the room keys. Sometimes they worked, other times it took 2-3 minutes of trying to open the door beofre it cooperated. If it weren't for the fact that we would lose our $$, we would have found a room elsewhere. The pool is really small. The hotel staff told us that it was a 3 minute walk to the beach. Not so. It's a 5-7 minute walk on a ratty, narrow boardwalk that is almost overgrown with weeds. I was afraid a snake might jump out at any minute. I certainly wouldn't venture out towards the beach at night. We ordered pizza at Jordano's after a hotel staff member highly recommended them. They were very expensive (my order was $75) & called me trash when I cancelled my order. I ordered more food at Papa John's & my total was only $43. The hotel staff was very friendly, but I would not EVER stay here or recommend this place to ANYONE!!! My advice... pay a little more $$ for a nicer place right on the beach.

The room was filthy. I had to wear flip flops to walk on the carpeting because it was so dirty my feet got black! I chose a hotel with a pool so I could swim everyday. The pool was green. You couldn't see the bottom. I wouldn't use it! I don't know how they can justify $195 per night!! There are a lot of much nicer hotels down the street. I would only rate this a 1 star!

This was not a pleasant stay for me or my family. We were extremely disappointed in the staff and bad room. The overall room when you get in looks exactly like the pictures. It seemed pretty clean and it was a good layout. The room desperatly needed some tlc though. One of our mirrors was cracked, a lampshade was torn and a picture over the couch was extremely faded and needed to be taken down. Then our 4th night when we came home from dinner there was huge leak seeping from our bathroom ceiling and the phone was not working. Upon calling the manager he did not clean up the large puddle on the floor and all he could say was there had been a leak on the floor above us. It leaked all night over the toilet so if we needed to use the restroom we got wet. He gave us a new phone but he was not friendly and not helpful at all. we kindly asked for some towels so we could clean up the mess. The overall staff needed an attitude adjustment. The girl that checked us in was very rude. She didnt tell us how to use the internet, how to get to the beach which ended up being an 8 minute walk on a board walk next to the hotel. I also did not feel safe at this hotel. I had my two small children and mother with me so that is a big issue. The 5th night we were there there were 4 men brawling and yelling in the pool area, we could hear people being very loud our entire stay off and on every night. Overall it was a bad hotel with poor staff. Dont stay there. Its not worth the money.
