This hotel was really great. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite. My husband was there for business and I had our two children (2 years and 8 months) alone during the day and early evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although I had the sense that they generally catered to business/professionals who were there on extended stay, they were very kind and helpful with my two small children. I didn't get disapproving stares. I got the feeling that they take very seriously their mandate to make the experience a "home away from home" and we were very comfortable and happy there for our 3 night stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower clean, we didn't really use the kitchen but all the necessary implements were present, including a 2-range stove, microwave, and full refrigerator. They have a very good continental breakfast (6-9am) every day of the week (eggs, sausage, home fries, bagels, toast, pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, oatmeal, waffles, etc.), and Mon-Thurs(5-7pm) they also serve a light dinner (when we were there: hamburgers and fries, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets and salad), which was a great time and money saver for our family. They have a nice workout facility, free WiFi, a laundromat, and an enclosed basketball court where my son loved to run in circles to burn off energy. The location is very convenient, especially for being in Arlington. My husband took the bus to the T every morning and came home the same way from downtown Boston, even after a dinner that went until 10 PM. He said that there were always a lot of people around and it never felt unsafe, even late at night. There is free enclosed parking in a garage beneath the hotel.
