• Great for Football HOF weekend

  First, from the hotel it was a short, 30 min drive to the Football HOF where you came into Canton on the SE side away from all the other traffic. Second, most closer hotels were going for around $150-$170 a night, by staying at this hotel for $*. Third there was a local pizza/sub/Ice Cream shop in town at the old train depot called appropriately enough ""The Olde Depot"" which had wonderful food at great prices (and the employees were wonderful) I originally found this place due to booking late but I will continue to stay there for future HOF weekends regardless of availability.

  My wife and I were there 3 nights to see relatives and explore her Dad's hometown of Dillonvale. Motel was very nice. We used the pool which was warm and good sized. Ponderosa and Subway were an easy walk. In all very pleasant stay. Motel is very accommadating.

  Requested a smoking room, Was gave non-smoking room which would have been fine had the hotel not had under 20 persons staying there throughout the entire week (there are around 60 rooms in the hotel). Pool was not useable through part of the trip. The fitness room contained a recumbent bike and treadmill neither of which worked. Snack items in the machine where stale. Desk clerks spent most of the time outside smoking and talking on a cell phone and seemed perturbed at being disturbed.
