Excellent value
11/27/2009Great value, even though next to freeway and railroad noise was not a problem. rooms are fresh, clean and large. excllent location for legoland. will defintely stay here again.

This hotel is not large but everything is top-notch. Our room was lovely, one of the nicest we've stayed in, nicer than the executive suite we had at a Hilton, if that's any indicator. The service is great, but hang the ""do not disturb"" sign on your door if you want to sleep past eight. The whole place looked clean and well-cared for, the staff was friendly. We were looking for a cheap place to stay and this place FAR exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a week, and enjoyed this hotel very much. The rooms are comfortable, neat and spacious. The staff was always friendly, courteous, and helpful. The continental breakfast is included, and there is a variety of muffins, bagels, pastries, fruit, cereal, juice, milk, tea and coffee - no problem finding plenty to eat! The location is a 10-minute walk to the beach, and right next to I-5. Legoland is only a few minutes drive, and the hotel offers a free shuttle - don't have to pay parking! The zoo, Seaworld, and downtown San Diego are less than 30 minutes away. Our room faced I-5, but there was no noticeable highway noise. (We were on the first floor - the higher floors may get more noise.) I recommend this hotel very highly - extremely pleasant at a reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again if we visit the San Diego area.
