This hotel is mostly just what you'd expect, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness (above average throughout, enough to make you feel really comfortable), the spaciousness and layout of our room, and the presence of an indoor pool and hot tub (although it is rather small and could use some updating). We enjoyed our continental breakfast; the kids were happy to find waffles, although some of the other promised items like cinnamon rolls were missing. The location is great and it was very quiet. All in all this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in the two-star hotel class.

The first room was totally trashed and the second room had not been cleaned. We were finally given a room that had been cleaned. On the second night our card would not open our door and we had to go to the front desk and have them fix our card. On the third night we came back to our room to find that it had not been cleaned. I didn't mind that the beds had not been made but I did mind that we didn't have any clean towels and that the trash had not been emptied. The people at the front desk were very nice and if they hire a new cleaning crew I would stay here again. But they really need to find some better help in the cleaning department. -

The heat did not work in the first room, took from 10:30 pm until the morning to get warm in the second room, then was so hot you could not stand it. Both rooms were not clean and the closet door would not open. When the toilet overflowed, that was the last straw and we asked to be moved to a third room. It was on the second floor, had no refrigerator and microwave and the door to the stairs would not open from either side, which is a fire hazard. We decided we wanted to cancel the rest of our stay and go somewhere else, but they would not agree to refund our money. We told them we would pay for the one night, just cancel the rest of the reservation. Finally, after the clerk talked to online travel website and her manager, we are supposed to be refunded the amount for the other four nights.

I was very pleased with my room. It was immaculately clean and attractively decorated. I felt quite safe and secure there. Eventhough the hotel is located close to an interstate highway, it was very quiet and peaceful. The front desk employees were polite and helpful. I will stay there again.
