  First of all, short walk from the hustle & bustle of town, short walk to Jettie's Beach, and clean, comfortable and fantastic staff.... If your going for elegant, rather than modern and clean and freindly, and spend all that money on a place that you only SLEEP in, go waste it somewhere else. In-ground pool, continental breakfast with a staff that is not only friendly but helpful and so very nice!

  After getting a package deal for my wife & I via Travelzoo at the Beachside@Nantucket for the first week after Labor Day-2007, I noticed that there were not many reviews for this hotel...and the few that existed were extremely unflattering. All I can say is that, before anyone else is almost scared away, there has obviously been a major change in the management at the Beachside since those earlier reviews because the place was great---i.e., a very clean and updated room & bath, a friendly and courteous staff, good location, great continental breakfast, etc. I definitely would stay there again...and confidently recommend it to others.
