As another reviewer stated, this hotel is right across the street from train tracks. We got very little sleep, which wasn't a good thing since we were in the middle of a 20-hr road trip. Other than that rather big detail, the hotel/room itself was fine. There's also a good little family restaurant next door (get something with the green chili).

I checked the reviews (2) and it looked ok. The room was ok, and the little fridge came in handy. However, what they didn't tell me was that it was located right across the street from train tracks that included a crossing. We listened to the train whistles ALL NIGHT LONG! We got very little sleep. We would have been better off on the west end of Gallup.

Three of us arrived about 10:00 pm on a Friday evening. The staff was very courteous and Friendly. There is no elevator and the three of us started carrying our luggage up to the second floor and the desk staff immediately offered to help. This was something totally unexpected in a budget hotel. We expected a typical "suite" with beds on one side and a small kitchenette across the room. Not so here - we were greeted by a 2-room suite with full kitchen, dining table, sofabed, chair and TV in one room and 2 queen-sized beds, TV and a bathroom in the other room. It was more a 1 bedroom apartment than a typical budget suite. Throughout the weekend, the staff made sure we were comfortable and happy. The experience was awesome. We will be staying with this chain again.

staying at this hotel at first was great until we moved to the 2nd floor and the staff who live here had an agressive dog and let it keep us up.. the manager didnt care about how we his guests were being treated by his staff, yet told us that we had to leave due to the fact that his staff was here first.. i dont recommend this hotel to anyone at all. they start out nice and then turn rude and ugly... take my advice and dont stay at this hotel..
