  Well, there was lipstix on the water glass, the knife w/the orange at bedside wasn't clean, the room was absolutely freezing and the thermostat didn't work. When the vent was manually closed it was noisy. Using the comforter for warmth only resulted in an uncover sauna. On the second nite I requested another room or checkout at 3am. The second room on the first floor was warm enough to sleep without covers. but the plumming was very loud and so were the normal conversations going on in the adjacent room. Sorry, nice ambience but an absolutely sleepless stay, couldn't do it again! The staff was very accomodating and it's a great location but the air conditioning is to loud, over effecient and the bedding too warm to compensate for the over cooling...... a mild disaster but correctable!
