My family and I stayed at this hotel while we were visiting Hershey Park. I was pleased with the clean room and friendly staff. Our kids really enjoyed both of the pools. My husband was disappointed that the ice machines didn't work and that several of the games in the game room were broken. Other than that we had a nice stay.

We have been going to this hotel for over 15 years and have always enjoyed our stay. This time however the upkeep is showing its age. Bathroom had mold and mildew. Rooms not clean as i also had to look out a dirty window obviously from children's handprints on them. We found a bag left from who had ever been in the room before us under the bed. The rugs were coming up in the hallway. The pool area was not clean at al. Rugs were frayed and coming up. Pool looked very questionable. We needed a shower after going in hot tub as you came out with a smell on you. With all the new hotels in the area you would think they would try to keep their's looking new. Will not go back to this hotel again.

Stayed April 2009 for a business conference, so in the two days we were at the hotel some things were great some not so great. First, the staff were pleasant and helpful across the board. Smiles and ""Good Morning"" ""Hello, there"" all around. Going to my room I thought the hallways looked dirty with dust bunnies along the edges of the carpet; and the area by the elevator had patched gouges in the walls. Uh, oh, what would our room look like? Very nice! Quite clean with high-thread count sheets and a comfy, almost too firm bed. (Firmness is subjective, though) Bathroom was clean. Everything spotless. We had a balcony overlooking the indoor pool and the chairs and tables needed a wet rag run over them. Dirty. I found the food I bought rather pricey and uninspiring. The banquet food was fair. During the meetings in different meeting rooms we OFTEN had the mikes cut out. But the staff was pretty good at getting things set up in a timely manner, and always pleasant. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice, with a pool table in the area. The gift shop was cute. Overall I'd give the hotel an OK. The major thing is the location: on a major highway right by Penn National Race Course, Hollywood Casino, and nearby to Harrisburg and Hershey Park. I don't know that I'd stay here independently but it worked as a meeting destination.

We stayed her 2 weekends in a row and bith times the food was horrible and the service was worthless. The staff liked to talk amongst themselves instead of doing their jobs. We come here for the comfort of the girls. They love the pool and game room. I do recommend it if you have kids just try not to deal with the staff and you will be happy...
