i drove from pa to jefferson IA. i stayed @ a super 8 in indiana, that i had nothing but bad things to say about. in fact corporate called me and i told them it was not a good stayover @all, along w/other complaints. then i arrived @ the super 8 in jefferson,ia. wow, i can't say enough about this place, especially J. after talking w/her and explaining my long drive, bad experience in indiana & my son being in iraq [i was driving his car there, so his fiance' had transportation to drive her & her kids to tx] thats where he's being stationed in dec, she decided i need a suite! it was really nice with whirlpool tub & all.& the rate i got was unbelievable. the lobby was decorated in 'country' and had a computer that the guests could use @ their convience. the continental breakfast was the best i've ever had & i travel alot. the choices were pancakes, ceral,danishes,donuts, various breads for toast, hard boiled eggs, tea, coffee, 2kinds of juices, fresk fruit & more! i honestly can't say enough about the cleanliness & friendliness @ this hotel. o! the best part was that she assured me of my safety, i was concerned, traveling alone & all. i would DEF recommend this place ! by the way, i am getting ready to book there again for the end of Nov. wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

Our room was extremely hot and musky when we checked in. After four hours, there wasn't any cold air blowing. The owner checked it and said it was fine, and offered a fan. The towels were replaced for the second day but the room wasn't vacuumed and the garbage wasn't removed.
