    In my opinion , the room was not up to standards.the cleaning could use much improvement. the chairs were filthy, the towels were dingy and of very poor quality. items ...

    In my opinion , the room was not up to standards.The cleaning could use much improvement. The chairs were filthy, the towels were dingy and of very poor quality. Items that should have been in the room were not. The staff lacked professionalism.

    I travel a great deal and I would have to say this was by far the worst experience at a motel I have ever had in my life. My young daughter an I arrived late at night and felt very unsafe. There was no security anywhere and creepy people all over. The place smelled and was filthy dirty. We could not sleep becasue of all the noise outside. In the morning, we went for our "continental breakfast" which ended at 9 AM and was stale bagels with packets of moldy jelly. That day, I told the desk I would be checking out the next day. I checked out on July 9 and drove to Manteno to the Country Inn Suites, which was lovely. When my American Epress statement arrived, the Super 8 had charge me for two extra ngihts by altering the bill!!! I was appalled!!!! Super 8 coprportate offices would not help me because they said the motel in Bournannis was independently owned and they had no jurisdiction. WARNING!!!! DO not stay at this place even if it's the only room left! Pay the extra $* and stay at a nice, clean, safe, and honest hotel. In the long run, you will have saved money!

    Not sure who's at fault (front desk or cleaning crew) but we were given the keys to a room that was already occupied to the chagrin of the desk ...

    Not sure who's at fault (front desk or cleaning crew) but we were given the keys to a room that was already occupied to the chagrin of the desk clerk. She said the "maid" had stated to her the previous occupant had checked out, which was not the case. We additionally did not get the room/bed we had locked in through online travel website . We had "reserved" a room w/king size bed and Internet access. We ended up with neither. As a side note...the room the clerk first mistakenly gave us the key to also had neither king size bed or Internet access.
