  Normally my wife and I love Country Inn, but when the room is ""assigned"" and at the top of the stairs, the result is the constant thumping of very loud doors. I'm a light sleeper and the noise was a pain. Otherwise we like this chain, though it is a bit pricey in comparison to AmericInn, a better value
