  The room we booked was in an area which was basically downtown and not at all convenient access. The room was old in appearance and reeked of smoke. The linens and bed were of poor quality...lots of lumps and dips. The sheets were not tucked in and the bed appeared barely made. I would personally not recommend this hotel. We needed to stay near our family who lives in Swansea...next time we'll look for lodging in Fairview Heights.

  Good deal for the price - met our needs. Hotel is nice, simple, clean and located well, friendly staff, VERY limited free breakfast. Room had a microwave and refrigerator, but NO HAIR DRYER and NO COFFEEMAKER. If I had known ahead of time, would have BROUGHT MY OWN.
