We only live less than two hours away, but decided we wanted to do Dorney Park in two days and stay at a hotel for that true ""vacation"" experience. We wanted a place that was a great value and location and we were not disappointed!! We were able to park there the first day, even though check-in wasn't until 3pm. They have plenty of discount tickets to Dorney ($30 each rather than $40 at the gate) and you can literally walk across the street. It is a four lane highway, but traffic was surprisingly slow (because of two traffic lights that you can't see). My husband and my two children (ages 7 and 8) were able to cross safely many times. So besides saving the money on parking (at $10 a car!) we were actually closer than a lot of those spots in Dorney's own lot. It also gave us the freedom to go somewhere else for dinner (much cheaper than dinner in the park and more options) and rest and shower. There is a great Hibatchi place down the street as well as Fridays and Perkins and various fast food places. Ask the front desk for coupons - they are incredibly nice. And definitely try Ice Cream World next door - tons of unique flavors! The room was simple and clean with large HDTV, a good sized refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. Towels were well stocked and there were all the little toiletries too. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the pillows even had labels of ""firm"" and ""soft"" for just the right mix. We didn't hear any noise from the other rooms or hallway. And the free breakfast was delicious with great variety. My whole family had a different breakfast and enjoyed it. Will definitely stay again!

The room was spacious and comfortable; however, the carpet had few red stains, which we showed management . The complimentary breakfast was great-- good coffee, scramble or hardboiled eggs, pasteries, yogurt, fruil juices, and cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were advertised as being excellent and they were. The bed was comfortable with good support and firm.

All hotels in this town are overpriced, in my opinion. This property offers the basic amenities plus an indoor pool. The free breakfast was ok. Bed mattress was not the most comfortable and is probably due for replacement. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Location is the best feature, convenient to downtown area and highway access. No restaurant on site, but within walking distance.
