  We just loved the Best Western Truman inn. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and check in was a breeze. Our room was awesome - very spacious, clean and very well appointed. I've lived in smaller apartments, seriously. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice, the internet worked great. New mattressesI can recommend this hotel enough. If we are ever back in Independence we will certainly stay at the Truman Inn.

  We just loved the Best Western Truman inn. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and check in was a breeze. Our room was awesome - very spacious, clean and very well appointed.   I have stayed at this hotel before and was very satisfied. The rooms are not high-tech and need some updating, but they are very clean and comfortable. It is definately worth the price! It is also in a great location for Royals games and for shopping and museums. I will definately stay again when I am in town!!!!

  Very friendly staff. They gave us a room away from traffic, which was very thoughtful. The room was very clean and very close to Sheridan's and QT. The pool looked very inviting and clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

  Very convenient to kaufmann stadium. kmart across street. sheridan's custard next door. computer in lobby. breakfast good and available on time. waffles, cereal, donuts, fruit. great value.
