Atlantic city trip
09/01/2007This hotel is very dirty and room smelled badly, there was no internet service available while we were there. the bathroom was dirty and floor was broken.

Most of the staff from valet to front desk were indifferent. The hallways and stairwells were in need of cleaning/disinfecting. On checkout day, one staff member behind the front desk and proceeded to ignore me. Bright spot was that housekeeping was responsive and that the hotel is on the boardwalk.

We arrived at 8:30 AM on Friday. We parked in the garage and went into the lobby to get a parking sticker. The staff was very nice and gave us our room right away even though check-in was at 3:00 PM. We were very suprised and happy. This hotel is older but very clean and great location in the Boardwalk.

This stay in Atlantic City was by far the worst stay I have ever had. On a high note the front desk, housekeeping, and the Scribbles staff were our outstanding! The rest off the stay was horrific. My stay was on the first floor the contruction on the floor was a constant problem, and they were not very client friendly. The room's window was broken, the floor in the room and the entire hotel was in need of a makeover. The hotel as a whole was in need of upgrading. And to top off everything the resturant was out of order the last 2 days.

Great for one night. Close to the boardwalk and casinos. The elevators are very slow especailly the one in the garage. I could smell cigarette smoke in my non-smoking room. I told the desk about this at chek out and was told they will be ""redoing"" the hotel in September and re-opening as a new hotel. The sataff is for the most part polite and they even said I could leave my car in the lot after check out.
