  The hotel was generally in good management. We stayed there for three nights. The staff were friendly and the room was neat and clean. However, when I was going to give it a five star for the service of this hotel, something unpleasant took place on last night -- my rental car was vandalized and my GPS was stolen when the car parked in the hotel's parking lot. I had to work several hours to get everything back on track -- cleaning up the masses of the smashed window glass and drove to another place to exchange for a new rental. Reported it to the hotel and so far no words from the management.

  I'm not sure that all Wingates are this way, but the Wingate near BWI was very accommodating to my needs. Traveling with my teenage son, we had nice comfortable double beds. Room was nicely accommodated with small fridge, microwave and a convenient work station with Internet access and abundant plugs and cables. There was a heated pool, and nice workout room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Really nice breakfast included -- where my son reveled in his Belgian waffles! All for a nice price. Only suggestion -- had four pillows on my bed, but all were pretty much the same. They could have varied -- soft- down as well as long-spongy and thick-mushy. I will definitely stay again, if I get back in the area.

  We have stayed in the Baltimore area about a dozen times while traveling-this is by the far the best hotel we have found. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The jacuzzi area seemed as if it was under construction, but still relaxing and presentable."

  Of all hotels in the area, this one offered the best (and very reasonable!) price available for my trip. The extended continental breakfast was great. Rooms have guest controlled AC, free wireless was convenient... The public work room by the lobby was also very convenient and offered free internet&computer access/fax/copying/printing for hotel guests. The staff was friendly & helpful. All in all, this hotel experience was excellent and I would definitely stay there again for my next visit to Baltimore.
