One word: Gross We arrived late (after calling early in the evening to warn of a late arrival) after an 8 hour drive. The room was hot, filthy- hair in the shower and back of the toilet, very uncomfortable- we had to make the pull-out bed ourselves at 12:50 in the early AM even though we listed 2 adults, 2 kids on the reservation. The explanation- "We like it to look neat and if it's pre-made it will be messy." You have to ask for a blow dryer at the desk- they said they have a tendancy to "walk". Just got of the phone w/ the manager- they are refunding , he said it was the best he could do. We left tired, sweaty, and grossed out the next morning and stayed at a higher end, cooler, cleaner, more comfortable motel across the road for less per night.

10/17/2007Did not sleep, the room smelled and it was not a clean smell, the room was not lit well, bed was okay and the carpet was dirty.

My room was clean, the beds were so comfortable I kinda didnt want to go home.lol.I borrowed an iron and board and a hair dryer, no problem. The continal breakfast was not exceptional, but pretty good. I liked that a could go down and get fresh coffee at 3 am.
The staff was polite, professional and very accomodating. The pool was not heated as advertised and laughably small but the hot tub was nice.It is not however an indoor pool. It is an outdoor pool inside a glass greenhouse that sits open . since it was cloudly and cool outside, it was too cold to swim.(disappointing)
But if clean and comfortable is more important then a pool, then i highly reccomend this hotel. Its the least expensive of the national chains in area. --- a called them all, i know. -

Having heard many good things about the Mircrotel chain, I was disappointed in this motel. The carpet was worn through in several places, and the chair, window seat, and bedspread were stained. The TV remote was also broken. The bathroom was clean; however, the carpet needed to be vaccumed more thoroughly.
