  We just stumbled across The Landing. It is a wonderful place. The view of the bay and the bridge is fantastic. The room was beautiful and spacious. Being right on the bay was great We will return.

  The Landing at Newport is one of the best properties on the Oregon coast and may people do not know it is a wonderful coastal view property! Balconies that you can sit out on all night long, with a beautiful view of the bridge, marina, and ocean in the background. Oh, I almost forgot...its a niffty hike down to the warf and warf shops too! My room had a fully usable kitchen with marble countertops, a wonderful fire place, and very cozy furnishings. A very clean and comfortable place with all the extras of home. The staff was very pleasant to us and were happy to help us with all aspects of our adventure. We were able to book a quick fishing trip at the deep sea fishing place that operates right next door. Life doesen't get any better than this!

  I was a little leary at first with only one review, but this place is beautiful. We booked a studio unit but the next door unit was VERY noisy. We told the front desk and she moved us to a 1 bdrm unit for no extra charge. It was completely wonderful..

  We walked in the room and were flabbergasted. It was beautifully furnished with marble countertops and slate tile floors, gas fireplace and fully furnished. The Marina was gorgeous and the foghorns at night along with the lighthouse was magical. My daughter sat on the balcony most of the night and wrote poems about Newport it moved her so.The staff was very friendly as well. A very nice place to stay and we will be back as soon as we can.Thanks
