Our stay was wonderful. The front desk staff was very friendly. The price was great. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was very fresh and offered a nice variety. The only thing missing was a pool. I would definately stay again. We were only 25 minutes from Ocean City and Assateague Island which was wonderful.

The hotel was OK but there was a slight smell in the room that seemed to come from the furniture or carpet and the AC didn't work too well (I didn't complain since neither were that bad and I was only staying one night). If I had been staying another night I would have requested another room, The staff was friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Eastern Shore of Maryland. From Salisbury, it is a short drive to Assateague Island, Chicoteague Island, and Ocean City. The hotel was very clean, fresh linens and towels were supplied daily, and we loved the free Continental breakfasts, especially the freshly made waffles! The staff was very friendly and helpful. A minor issue with our room was resolved immediately. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the hotel and would definitely stay at a Microtel again due to our good experience at this one. I used to stay at Days Inns but from now on will look for a Microtel anytime I am traveling.

We had someone walk into our room without even knocking. We didn't even get an apology, We were told that we could check out at 1 pm because my child takes a nap at 10 am. Housekeeping started knocking on the door/calling at 9:30 AM. The normal check out is 11. This should never happen. The Manager came and banged on the door at noon and yelled at me, basically calling me a liar and telling me to ""get out"". The tv was a pukey green color, the sink sprayed everywhere, there were little black hairs all over, stains on the couch and the light switch didn't work correctly. I can not even begin to explain the way the Hotel Manger spoke to me. He acted like he had no idea that we were the customers. He came banging on the door trying to push us out of the room for no other reason other than to get the housekeepers off of the parking lot smoking cigarettes, into cleaning our room and then off of his clock. The cheapness also shined on the ""breakfast"" where there wasn't even any fruit- only a few slices of white bread, some pecan rolls, bagels and a waffle maker. I guess paying for fruit and paying a housekeeper an extra hour is just too much for a hotel that charges $ a night for room that severely needs a detailing, an upgrade and some maintenance. On the upside, they had wi-fi and there was no hassle connecting with our laptop.

My family and I stay here everytime we visit my son at Salisbury University. We enjoy the clean accomodations and the free ong distance. It is also nice having the breakfast in the morning. It is always fresh and has a lot of choices. I would like to see a selection of fruits. But the waffles were yummy. See you in a month.
