This hotel has gone downhill since we first began staying there to visit family nearby. The rooms are not terribly clean and there were dead bugs in the bathrooms on our last visit, as well as hair in the shower. The front desk staff seems to care nothing about providing nice customer service. On every visit, they are out of milk for the "free breakfast" after 7AM and they provide dry bagels and no cream cheese, butter, or jelly of any kind. Packaged muffins that you can get at the 7-11. Very bitter coffee and no cream is provided - just some powdered stuff that doesn't seem to make a dent in the old coffee - it barely changes color. The front desk staff never offers an upgrade on a room or checks the condition of the breakfast bar area. The pictures make it look like this place is MUCH nicer than it actually is. We dislike staying here and wish the family in this area would move someplace nicer so we didn't ever have to go to this place again. Not much to choose from in such a small town. I think that's why the owners must feel they can get by with such low standards.

This motel is okay. We stay there at least once per year to visit relatives nearby, and we've never been offered an upgraded room. The staff is polite. They are used to people just passing through and don't really seem interested in making your stay just a little better. It's kind of like going through the checkout line at the grocery store - they just want you in and out with no hassle.
