  I have stayed at this hotel because it is near Exira, Iowa for many years and unfortuantely can't give it a terrific rating. In this part of the country there are just so few options that I have to grab it. Our room was clean, but other family members said theirs were not. The beds (double-size) are old and uncomfortable, but some rooms had been updated and might have been better. On the good side, the staff is friendly and try to be helpful - they get a LOT of traffic on 4th of July weekend each year and we keep coming back so we can visit family there.
