The staff at the front desk was polite and helpful and the hotel was a value. However, sometimes you get what you pay for. The non-smoking double queen room had a strange odor (partially smoky and partially musty) with a view of the dish and the neighboring alley and a few out-of-whack things that needed fixing (slow drain in bath, broken towel rods that fell). Breakfast was good except crowded in a small area.
