  We recently stayed 1 night as a stop-over. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms though a bit tight on space provided comfortable beds, a free in room safe and refrigerator, tv with plenty of viewing channels. The bathroom though basic (tubs peeling from previous cleaning chemicals as I inquired about this) were clean with tub/shower combo, toilet and sink and built in hair dryer. Breakfast was feasible and plenty to start the day which was included in the price; though lobby area is small with only 3 tables that had 2 chairs each. Breakfast hours were 6-10am and included 24/7 coffee, oj and apple juices, 2% and whole milk, 2 types cold cereal, oatmeal, pop-tarts, danishes and donuts, bagels with plain and strawberry cream cheese. This hotel offers smoking or non-smoking rooms and as a smoker I choose a non-smoking room and it did NOT smell of smoke as I would have asked to be roomed. It is 3 floors with stairs at both ends and 1 elevator and offers 2 luggage carts to use. Considering the price and the friendliness of the staff and that it met our needs for the night; I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it as a quick stop-over.

  This hotel was old and the room was dirty. the breakfast area was also dirty. will not be staying there again!

• smells like smoke

  The lobby of the hotel smelled horrible from cig smoke. our room, even though was non-smoking, smelled a little like smoke and it was worse after using the fan ...

  The lobby of the hotel smelled horrible from cig smoke. Our room, even though was non-smoking, smelled a little like smoke and it was worse after using the fan in the bathroom during a shower. The shower head had no power. I could barely get the shampoo out of my hair. However, besides the smell, the room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will not stay there again because I am extremely allergic to smoke.

  Certainly not the ritz, but the best bang for the buck in the cumberland area. many other motels in this area charge far more for the same service and amenities.
