We were in the Dillon area for a nearby NASCAR race in Darlington. Needless to say, rooms were scarce and we ended up at the Super 8 in Dillon. We paid $100/night for the absolute worst room we have EVER stayed in. The room had broken lamps that we unplugged from the wall because we were concerned they were a fire hazard. The door to the room would was difficult to open, the bed was nothing but worn out springs, and the furniture was old and disgusting. The loveseat in the room was so disgusting we would not even consider sitting on it. The sheets on the bed did appear to be clean, but they used two top sheets and of course the bottom then would not stay in place. The coffee pot was broken as well and they refused to replace it. Bottom line - unless you are DESPERATE for a room, keep looking...
