We stayed one night at this motel during a very trying time. An ice strom had hit our community and we had to leave our home to find heat due to power outages . We couldn't get the invoice on how much our card was charged and called about it when phone lines were restored. When the general manager was questioned about the bill he got very angry and cursed us. My daughter was on the phone with him and he called her bad names and we could have spent the night in the car and froze. I can't use the language here that he spewed over the phone but it was appalling. He made a threat to my daughter telling her to come to the motel and he would be waiting for her. We were stunned. This is a true report and the complaint was reported to Super8. His excuse was that he was stressed having to deal with the motel and people during this ice storm. Never once was one rude word used when we called. My daughter just asked a question about her bill and he went off. She didn't have have a chance to say another word. Never again will we, our freinds, our family, our church recommend this motel or spend another dime there. This rating is for Management. The other employees were much more professional and friendly than their management.

My family and I stayed here a few months ago and I'm a little older woman so I don't have much in life besides my family but Doug the manager and the staff and the morning cook were all just the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life and the stay was just so welcoming and perfect...........We had a wonderful dinner at Pattis which Doug had suggested and everything just was soo wonderful I felt more like I was staying with my own family than in a hotel they just have the best personalities for the business and yet still very very clean and cheap and professional........My family and I will always stay at that Super 8 every time we come through......... I just loved our stay there........ Thank you very very much X! I just loved it .

Checked in early to the lobby with a fresh smell of baked chocolate chip cookies free at the front counter. X the manager and Y the front desk clerk were changing shifts and treated us like family. Our room was the greatest as nice as a Hilton that we had stayed at a week earlier in Virginia and 50$ less in price. The food in the area was wonderful and the knowledge of the staff was awesome. We asked for extra pillows and soaps and nothing was a bother. They offered us the meeting room to play cards in free because there was a large group out by the pool which was so nice and clean. Other than a little attention needed to the landscaping( they did say they had a drought going on which had killed a lot of plants).
I have to say we will be back each year twice on our trip to and from Florida.

The best bang for your buck. Just needed a place for one night. I was skeptical about low price BUT turned out a great stay. Was as clean as any motel/hotel I have ever stayed at. Super friendly service. The huge delicious breakfast was fantastic. At I-24 Calvert City exit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
