It was reasonably clean for a Super 8. The beds were very hard. If someone is in the room above you, you will hear their walking around. The breakfast was poor: 2 kinds of cereal, small bagels and diluted juice. If you know what Super 8's are like, this is at the lower end of the Super 8 spectrum. I would look elsewhere.

Pathetic!
09/28/2009Worst super 8 we've stayed at! the franchise should really check this one out because it does not provide the quality for the rates charged.

Walked in the room, flipped on the light switch, and nothing happened. It seems that the light, microwave, fridge and TV all share the same plug-in, so it's your choice which two items will work at any given time. Assuming that you want to move the furniture to find the plug-in. In doing so, it'll become very obvious that the housekeeping staff never moves the furniture. But then again, the rest of the room didn't look much better. Carpet was filthy. Large gap in the door. Bathroom was not only dirty, but was very badly maintained. Beds and pillows needed replaced. And forget about breakfast ... a few tiny bagels and one choice of cereal.

We dropped off our bags in the hotel rooms in the early evening and noticed a moldy smell in the two reserved rooms. We got back later that night and found that the linen smelled of a combination of wine, cigaret smoke, and body odor. When I inspected the other 3 beds, they had the same smell, and I was disgusted to find fresh stains on the linen resembling body fluids. Needless to say, I reported the problem in the morning and was told that the linen was clean and it always smells this way. I was glad to find fresh linen on the second day that smelled clean. The rooms on the other hand had a putrid smell throughout our stay. It was so bad that we would wait until late at night to go back to the room, and leave the room as early as possible. Heating our room was also problematic, as the thermostat had the cover removed and the main heater was out of order. Instead, there was a very small electric heater that merely broke the chill in the cold Colorado nights. We were told that we'd get a continental breakfast, yet every time we'd get to the dining room at around 7 a.m, we would find several mini-bagels, an empty pitcher of orange juice, and a half cup of coffee if I was lucky. We reported this to the front staff, and by the time they put out more food, we had to leave for scheduled meetings. We tried this for two days before finally giving up, and from there on we ate breakfast at an outside restaurant. Please stay away.
