Be careful if you are approaching this hotel from I-24 (from the north), it is sitting in a curve and you will completely miss the entrance if you don't exactly where you are going. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was nice and was aware that I had several family members staying there, and gave me the room numbers of all of them. Upon checking into the room, we found that the housekeeping staff had overused some type of air freshner, and the room was almost sickening from the sweet smell. The room was nice, clean, and of the average size with two queen beds. Front desk clerk will call and check if everything is fine about 5 minutes after you check-in. Our microwave did not work, and would sound an alert every minute, but we just unplugged it. The bathroom is on the small side and you just about had to stand in the tub to close the door. The pillows were thin, but one could compensate by folding the pillow over. Parking was just outside the door, and filled up quickly. Pool is really small, and is between the hotel and busy Lafayette Road, so if you are afraid of being seen in your swim suit, you will probably not visit the pool. We had no problems with the location and location was a main reason we chose this property, but it could be hard to exit the property and go north towards Chattanooga during the morning and afternoon rush hour. If you are traveling to Battlefield Parkway, south, or to Chickamauga Battlefield National Military Park, location is not a problem. Breakfast was a average continental variety. Front desk during checkout was quick and added some humor to the morning. I would certianly stay again.

HORRIBLE MOTEL
11/27/2006This is the worst motel we have ever stayed at...not clean, did not have spare toilet paper, no kleenex in tissue holder...beds worn out..shower needed cleaning...overall ...
This is the worst motel we have ever stayed at...not clean, did not have spare toilet paper, no kleenex in tissue holder...beds worn out..shower needed cleaning...overall it has turned me away from staying at any Super 8 motel again..and we were Super 8 card holders.....
