Needs updating, except for the new TV's, everything looks like it's from the 70's. The area is not safe and they keep the lobby doors locked at night. The shower curtain was moldy and the toilet barely flushed. Would never stay here again, would sleep in my car! This is a blemish for the Holiday Inn name.

Price high for the area - should have stayed at Motel 6 one exit before for $36 instead of $93 at Holiday. Lounge was closed because of bartender being gone for a week - poor management in not having a second bartender. Needed a wine bottle opener - Holiday Inn would not even go into their lounge to get us one - Perkins took care of it for us by borrowing one from Holiday Inn lounge. Perkins had great service and food. Holiday Inn - well, they took our money....... Would not stay here again although it was convenient to main road.

The hotel was fine. But... the first morning the Perkins servers didn't show up & they play the worst 70's music on XM. The second night - Saturday- the bartender didnt show up so they closed the bar and we had nothing to do.There is nowhere to walk except a gas station. The cabfare to Beale Street is $30.00 one way. To the airport is $60.00. Also the pool was 98.0 and steaming which to us was fine but they were trying to fix the heater while we were there.

Location ws perfect for business in crowded downtown Memphis, TN. It was clean and well kept. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Not a 5 star hotel, but for $*/nightly it was a great stay! Would definitely stay again!
