We stayed here for a few days and it was a nightmare. The hotel was populated by what were obviously undocumented Latin American laborers. It went from bad to worse. There were huge numbers Spanish speaking laborers staying there and it was pretty scary. They all ran back in the rooms and closed the doors. One guest was saying he called immigration. Woman at front desk did nothing to address complaints other than to say call manager in the morning. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The smell of mold was strong upon entering the building. The first room assigned to us was already occupied. The next room had a used bar of soap in the tub and the bath mat was soaking wet. The beds were saggy and lumpy, and in the morning we discovered bedbugs. Don't be fooled by the Howard Johnson name!

08/02/2003When my friend and i stayed we had no problmes. no it was not the cleanest place but it wasn't filthy.
